First snow...
First snow of Winter 2005-2006... Went to the diner and had 2 eggs w/ corned beef hash... The diner in town has a great corned beef hash, and they give a NICE sized portion of it! Yum!
This s a place for residents of Hastings on Hudson to discuss anything and everything about our town...

I'm a bird without feed. A cat without wet food. A McDonalds soda without a straw... Me without good Chinese food is ROUGH. The takeout place in town did not impress me. The food was bland, and the place looks dirty. Where is a man to order Chinese from? Any recommendations of places in the neighboring towns that will deliver to Hastings?
Thanksgiving 2005 marks the first sighted snowfall in Hastings since last winter.... Flurries -- I see flurries! Falling from the sky like ashes of ground turkey bones...
Woke up this morning with a bit of a headache from a night of drinking in NYC with my wife and UK popstar extraordinaire MJ Hibbett. The only consolation to feeling rather crap this morn is the fact that I know I can easily get a bagel at Hastings' Own Bagels. I have to say, their bagels are the best -- better than any other bagel I've had anywhere else in ages! Just the right crispness on the outside, and nice and tender on the inside... Seeded and seasoned appropriately, and oftentimes still hot from the oven... Thanks, Hastings' Own Bagels, for giving my rather yechy morning a brightspot! Yummy!
Can anyone recommend any gyms in the area? I wish the high school would be open on nights/weekends for residents to use their excercise facilities...
Does anyone know what happened to the restaurant "19 Main" in Hastings? It seems to be closed for the past week or two. My wife and I loved eating brunch there on weekends! We also enjoyed dinner there -- even if it was a couple of dollars too expensive. It would be a shame if 19 Main has closed for good -- the village definitely needs great restaurants like this. Any info, anyone?
